Online Consultations

From Wednesday 13th June you will be able to consult with the surgery online, avoiding telephone calls, delays in getting an appointment and receive a prompt response.

Out of Hours
For urgent medical problems when the surgery is closed you can call NHS 111 on 111.

Extended Opening Hours

We are open on Monday evenings from 6.30 pm until 8.00 pm and Wednesday mornings from 7.00 am to 8.00 am.  Please note these appointments are for patients who are unable to attend during our normal opening hours.

Text Messaging

Missed appointments increase waiting times for all our patients.  To help improve our patient services, we will send you a FREE reminder via text before your appointment.  Should you no longer need your appointment early cancellation will enable us to provide care to another patient.  It couldn't be easier to register - simply provide your mobile phone number and a day or so before your next appointment you will receive a reminder detailing the date and time direct to your mobile phone.  Sign up now!  Never miss another appointment.

Electronic Prescribing

Saltash Health Centre has been using electronic prescribing for over a year.

Prescriptions can be sent to one of the local chemists, Lloyds Fore Street, Lloyds Burraton, Boots and Saltash Pharmacy.

We can send prescriptions outside the area under special circumstances.  We will need the ODS prescribing code of the chemist.

Some prescriptions cannot be sent electronically and these have to be printed and collected by the pharmacies.  These prescriptions cannot be sent outside of the local area.

We are taking part in a pilot for the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically from 14th June 2019.

Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.

You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now.

Read more about EPS on the NHS website.
