We’re aware of concerns following the recent meningitis outbreak in Kent. UKHSA has confirmed 15 cases and is currently running a targeted MenB vaccination programme only for students living in halls at the University of Kent. This is not a wider public programme at this time.
UKHSA has said the programme may expand as they continue to assess the situation, but no broader rollout has yet been announced.
If you’ve been advised to check your vaccination history (e.g., by a university), you can view your past vaccines via the NHS App under your GP health record.
👉 Please note: We are not currently able to offer MenB vaccinations unless national guidance changes.
Be aware of meningitis symptoms such as fever, severe headache, vomiting, neck stiffness, rash that doesn’t fade under pressure, or confusion. If symptoms appear, seek urgent medical help via NHS 111 or 999.
We’ll keep you updated as official guidance develops.
